Care and Cleaning

Copper Tiles
~All the copper backgrounds in my tiles are treated with a thin layer of clear wax. This will slow down the natural oxidation process of copper. It is normal for the copper to slowly darken with time.
~The copper will not turn green, instead will darken into a rich dark copper color.
~To dust and clean the tiles use a clean dry paint brush and gently "paint"" the beadwork. The bristles will get in between the beads and polish them right up.
~Avoid using water or cleaners on the beadwork.

Traditional French Beaded Flowers
~To dust and clean the tiles use a clean dry paint brush and gently "paint" the beadwork. The bristles will get in between the beads and polish them right up.
~Do not submerge flowers in water.
~Avoid displaying flowers in high humidity environments such as the bathroom.
~Stem wires can be bent gently to adjust the height of flowers. Over bending will cause the wires to break so be careful.
~All petals are laced together for stability. Bending and rearranging the petals can break the lacing.

If you treat beadwork with care it will last a life time
